Friday From My Chinoiserie Home

When I converted an extra bedroom into my dressing room, I painted the room Thomas Pink pink by taking a shopping bag with me to Benjamin Moore, then added all the Elfa shelving, but a recent tweak of the room added Chinoiserie touches and really made it my own. (Click photos to enlarge)

A pair of blue and white Chinese ginger jars in front of the mirror.

My hat collection.

A vintage Chinoiserie print ad framed in gold bamboo.

Four antique camellia botanicals framed in gold bamboo.

A Mary McDonald touch-a pair of antique French Art Nouveau ballroom chairs upholstered in leopard velvet.

They are topped with ostrich feather pillows.

A Greek key bolster adds a Hollywood Regency touch to the Ghost chair.
